By submitting a signed boarding application form (electronically or by hand), or boarding your rabbit/rabbits subsequently without a boarding application form, you are agreeing to be bound to the following boarding terms and conditions:
- All new clients must complete a boarding application.
- An application form is not required for subsequent boarding unless the medical/health status of your rabbit/rabbits’ changes.
- We reserve the right to request any client to complete and submit an application form upon request.
- Your rabbit/rabbits must be Vaccinated against Calicivirus either 6 or 12 monthly and all vaccinations must be up-to-date.
- You are required to provide evidence of a current up-to-date vaccination record when you submit your boarding application or upon request.
- Your application for boarding will be unsuccessful if you are unable to provide proof of the vaccination or refusal to administer revolution treatment prior to boarding.
- No less than 1 day prior to boarding, your rabbit/rabbits are to be given a weight appropriate dose of Revolution.
- Known medical conditions of your rabbit/rabbits must be detailed in your boarding application form and copies of your vet instructions must be provided.
- We reserve the right to refuse, at any time at our sole discretion, entry to the premisis of any person.
- We reserve the right to have removed from the premises by appropriate authorities, any person or animal perceived to be a threat to the health, safety, mental and physical wellbeing or any person or animal on/in our premises.
- We reserve the right to refuse, at any time at our sole discretion, the provision of boarding services for any rabbit for any reason, including without limitation and in addition to any rabbit that is undergoing medical treatment for which we are not equipped to deal with or any rabbit whose medical issues pose a possible risk to the health and wellbeing of other rabbits.
- Your rabbit/rabbits are free of any contagious diseases or illness.
- If your rabbit/rabbits are showing any signs of being unwell prior to their stay with us, you must advise us immediately, and we reserve the right at our sole discretion to cancel your rabbit/rabbits boarding with us.
- You indemnify us, our officers, employees, agents and other third parties from and against all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, costs, expenses and liabilities of any kind whatsoever which may be suffered or incurred in connection with any illness, injury, accident, death, loss, or damage arising from your rabbit/rabbits stay with us (unless proven to our satisfaction to have been directly caused by our negligence or misconduct or we voluntarily accept liability).
- This indemnity survives the boarding period and the expiration or termination of these Terms & Conditions.
- We will not be liable for any illness, injury, accident, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which your rabbit/rabbits may suffer or for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which you may suffer (unless proven to our satisfaction) to have been directly caused by our negligence or misconduct.
- We take every care and precaution to protect your rabbit during the boarding period. However, as we are not on-site 24/7, there is a potential risk of injury/injuries occurring in our absence. Boarding of your rabbit with us means that you accept this risk.
- Should your rabbit sustain an injury from another boarding rabbit or resident rabbit during their boarding period (which we have agreed to accept liability for), we will pay for all reasonable vet costs inclusive of: 1 initial Vet consultation, initial injury treatment/surgery, initial medications for your rabbit’s recovery treatment.
- In the event of a minor illness or injury to your rabbit/rabbits, that we may apply first aid or seek other medical treatment as we deem fit or appropriate at our sole discretion.
- In the event of a serious illness or injury to your rabbit/rabbits we may, at our sole discretion, make arrangement for consultation and treatment of your rabbit/rabbits by a veterinarian (at one of our preferred providers) whose decision will be final, and you will be notified as soon as possible.
- All costs and expenses incurred for any and all medical consultation(s) and/or treatment for your rabbit/rabbits will be paid to us upon collection of your rabbit/rabbits.
- If your rabbit/rabbits present with any disease, such as (but not limited to) Pasteurella, coccidiosis, any strain variation of calicivirus, myxomatosis, EC etc, we will not be liable under any circumstances for any injury, accident, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which your rabbit/rabbits may suffer or for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which you may suffer in connection with your rabbit/rabbits contracting a disease.
- While every precaution is taken with biosecurity and cleaning processes, it is impossible to guarantee disease transmission, such as (but not limited to) Pasteurella, coccidiosis, any strain variation of calicivirus, myxomatosis, EC etc, can be prevented. We will not be liable under any circumstances for any injury, accident, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which your rabbit/rabbits may suffer or for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which you may suffer in connection with your rabbit/rabbits contracting a disease while boarding.
- All boarding fee payments are required on the day of or the day prior to boarding. Exceptions are only valid upon agreement by both parties, either verbally or in writing.
- All Boarding fees paid are non-refundable unless at our sole discretion for extenuating circumstances such as early pickup for/in and in extreme events such as death.
- The decision to make any refund (full or partial) is at our sole discretion.
- Your rabbits boarding stay may be extended by agreement, with all additional boarding fees/costs to be paid upon pickup.
- If your rabbit is not collected on the nominated pick-up date and you have not advised us of an alternative pick-up date, we will hold your rabbit for another 24 hours after the nominated pick-up date. If you fail to collect your rabbit/rabbits at that time, your rabbit/rabbits will be considered as abandoned and we may at our sole discretion hand over your rabbit/rabbits to Hobsons Bay Council or any other relevant authority for further action. You agree to pay all costs and expenses incurred for such handover.
- While we take every care in protecting your privacy (see our Privacy policy), we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulations, legal process or governmental request.
- That all the information you have given on your boarding application is a true and accurate record.
- You agree that we may use your personal information for our administrative purposes and to provide you with the latest information on specials, pricing of products and other services that we may have to offer from time to time.
- These terms and conditions may be updated at any time, and it is the responsibility of the rabbit owner to maintain familiarisation with the terms and conditions herein as they may change or be updated from time to time.
